This is not election observation
Election observers are accredited by the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) and watch the vote at a polling station in The Gambia. Members of the Diaspora support team are not observers. They never call themselves observers and never post or share CRPD's findings.
CRPD never announces results (IEC Code of Conduct for Election Observers, clause 14). Only CRPD's own statements speak for the mission.

Eight ways to help
What members do not do
- They do not observe at polling stations, and do not call themselves observers or use the observers' badge.
- They do not post, share or comment on CRPD's findings, observer reports or any figure from the count. CRPD's statements are the only voice of the mission.
- They do not speak to journalists for CRPD.
- They do not work or campaign for any party or candidate, and do not share material for one. CRPD accepts no support from politicians, candidates or their agents.
- They do not contact observers, polling officials or the IEC on CRPD's behalf.
- They never see the personal details of CRPD's observers or applicants. Each member sees only what their role needs.
How CRPD keeps the team non partisan and safe
- Every member signs a non partisan pledge.
- Every applicant declares any party membership or party office they hold now or held in the past five years. CRPD reviews each declaration.
- Every applicant gives a referee CRPD can contact.
- CRPD looks at the applicant's public social media posts, with their consent.
- Members sign a confidentiality agreement.
- Members complete online training and pass a short quiz before they start.
- Members only reach what their role needs, never the personal details of observers or applicants, and use two step sign in on the account they use for CRPD work.
- The team is small on purpose: 30 to 50 people.
